Hi, Serena here! I'm a Los Angeles based photographer who's always on the go!

I delved into photography in 2011 during my sophomore year in university while majoring in environmental art design. Photography was a required course at the time, leading me to purchase my first professional DSLR camera and fall in love with photography. Since then, I've been capturing moments of my family and friends.

After graduation, I became a graphic designer, and throughout my years in the field, my camera has never left my side.
My last graphic design job was for a sustainable packaging company, providing me with the opportunity to shoot the entire catalog. Impressed by my photos, my boss suggested I consider a career in photography—a notion my friends have always encouraged.

Being a creative individual, I love photography, design, fashion, and creating. These have always served as my creative outlets. Since early 2023, I finally made the jump to full-time photography. So here I am, 12 years later, doing the coolest thing I've ever dreamed of!
When I'm shooting, my goal is to capture real moments and raw emotions. I like to keep things fun while maintaining some sort of structure. I may give my clients a prompt or two, but I always remember that we are telling THEIR story. I want all my clients to look through their gallery and be taken back in time.

One of my favorite shooting techniques is capturing motion. I believe a photo with a little blur truly captures the emotion and tells a story. Don't worry though; we'll also get those sharp, focused photos as well! As for editing, I aim for a timeless feel, but I must say, I love warmer tones and filmy vibes!
Traveling comes naturally to me. I've visited more than 20 countries, taken multiple road trips across the US, and explored numerous national parks. I love nothing more than being on the go, so wherever my clients need me, I'll be there! With plenty of travel experience, I'm not just a photographer but also the perfect travel companion, more than happy to offer tips or advice.
